Future of Learning

There are some interesting ideas in this document:

http://mitpress.mit.edu/books/chapters/Future_of_Learning.pdf

I wonder if anyone has input on them? The questions about:

* Authority in learning?

* Classroom vs virtual?

* Learning vs participating?

I would appreciate any feedback or comments on this and what it means to you in your classroom, school or other educational domain. Thanks - Steve

  1. Steve,

    Here is an interesting study that was done on the Arkansas Distance Learning project in which students from any high school could attend classes via "online" virtual school or CIV (interactive video). The organization that conducted this in-depth survey, the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC.org) is one that should be brought to the table in Broadband applications in K12.
